This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, flat-screen TV, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me with bug spray on my first stay, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it for a great experience.

However, the room had a noticeable odor that leaned towards hassle—faint remnants of cigarette smoke lingered, compounded by a strong whiff of something more concerning when the bathroom vent turned on. The cleanliness left much to be desired. I stumbled upon brown gunk in the fridge and on the remote. Moldy trim in the bathroom and old, scratchy blankets didn’t help create that comfortable vibe either.

The room was clean and accessible, making it a lovely retreat for my senior friends. The nearby Pink Cadillac diner added a charming touch with its classic decor and delicious food.

The management was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The stay included a decent mountain view from the property, despite lacking some features.

I had such a lovely stay here, especially when the staff kindly fixed my reservation mistake with no fuss and I enjoyed relaxing by the nice garden sitting area under the trees. The pet-friendly vibe was a big bonus, and there were some cool spots to chill out with my furry friend. The bathroom could have used a better clean, but it didn't put a damper on my visit at all! 🐾

Comfortable room, friendly staff, we enjoyed having a microwave and large refrigerator to use during our stay but were pleasantly surprised to find a breakfast option available as well.

great access to natural park and safari nearby for weekend strolls

I enjoyed my stay here for one night, appreciating how close it was to the Natural Bridge State Park, only about 5 km away, and the Virginia Safari Park, just a short drive of nearly 3 km, perfect for a weekend full of exploration. the room was clean and offered good value for the price, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night despite some minor road noise from the nearby interstate, something to keep in mind for those sensitive to sound.

The room was a bit rough. We got one full bed instead of two queens, and it smelled like smoke even though we booked non-smoking. The carpet was pretty dirty, too. We ended up outside just to get some fresh air. Plus, the view was just the noisy interstate, no mountains to see. Not great at all.

stayed one night in budget inn and the management was super kind. the property was quiet and in the perfect location for visiting nearby attractions. the deluxe queen room was comfortable and met our family needs well.
